The Standing Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Trade met this day at 4:24 p.m., in room C128, Senate of Canada Building, the deputy chair, the Honourable Peter Harder, P.C., presiding.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Al Zaibak, Coyle, Deacon (Ontario), Gerba, Greenwood, Harder, P.C., MacDonald, Ravalia, Robinson and Woo (10).
Other senators present: The Honourable Senator Fridhandler (1).
Participating in the meeting: Zachariah Black, Analyst, Library of Parliament.
Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Thursday, October 26, 2023, the committee continued its study on Canada’s interests and engagement in Africa.
