The Standing Senate Committee on Energy, the Environment and Natural Resources met this day at 9:15 a.m., in room B30, Senate of Canada Building, the chair, the Honourable Paul J. Massicotte, presiding.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Galvez, Massicotte, McCallum, Prosper, Sorensen, Verner, P.C., Wells and White (8).
Other senators present: The Honourable Senators McBean and Oudar (2).
Participating in the meeting: Sarah Dodsworth, Analyst, Library of Parliament.
Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Thursday, October 26, 2023, the committee continued its examination of Bill C-226, An Act respecting the development of a national strategy to assess, prevent and address environmental racism and to advance environmental justice.
