The Standing Senate Committee on Fisheries and Oceans met this day at 9:05 a.m., in room W110, 1 Wellington St., the deputy chair, the Honourable Bev Busson, presiding.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Ataullahjan, Busson, Cordy, Francis, Kutcher, Osler and Patterson (Ontario) (7).
Participating in the meeting: Daniele Lafrance, Analyst, Library of Parliament.
Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Friday, February 24, 2023, the committee continued its examination of the government response to the fourth report of the Standing Senate Committee on Fisheries and Oceans, tabled with the Clerk of the Senate on July 12, 2022.

Chief Wilbert Marshall made a statement and, together with Justin Martin, answered questions.
At 10:59 a.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the chair.
