Eligibility
The objective of the student employment programs is to provide employment opportunities to students, whether in high school, CEGEP, college, or university that will:
- enrich their academic programs;
- help fund their education and encourage them to complete their studies;
- develop their skills and improve employability after graduation;
- offer insights into future employment opportunities.

To be considered for a COOP opportunity*, you must:
- have a recognized full-time student status (secondary or post-secondary) in an accredited institution OR be enrolled for full-time studies for the fall term;
- be a minimum of 17 years of age;
- be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
*Full-time employment in field of study for approximately 16 weeks (September to December, January to April, or May to August).
To be eligible for student employment opportunities during the academic year or during the summer months (early May to late August), you must:
- be a full-time student in an accredited institution (secondary or post-secondary) OR be enrolled for full-time studies for the fall term;
- be a minimum of 17 years of age;
- be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
Employment can be on a full-time or on a part-time basis.
