Ottawa – Tim McMillan, President and CEO of the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers (CAPP), will appear by videoconference today before the Standing Senate Committee on Energy, the Environment and Natural Resources. He will share CAPP’s views on energy prices, shifts in international demand for resources and global commitments to reducing greenhouse gasses. This will help inform the committee’s examination of the current status and outlook of the oil and gas sector in Canada. Members would like to map out major issues facing the sector, including proposed projects relating to liquefied natural gas (LNG) exports and crude oil pipelines.
