Thursday, November 3, 2022 – Senator Daniel Christmas, right, is awarded the Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Medal in recognition of his significant service to Nova Scotia. The medal was created to mark the 70^th anniversary of Her Late Majesty’s accession to the throne and honours significant contributions and achievements of Nova Scotians. Marshall and participated in a session where community members discussed visions for how to implement treaties and advance reconciliation. Wednesday, November 9, 2022 – Senator Chantal Petitclerc, centre, visits the Centre d’activités récréatives et éducatives (C.A.R.E. Centre) in Côte Saint-Luc, Québec. The senator spoke to the centre’s clients — adults with physical disabilities aged 21 and older — about the Senate and its role in Parliament, as part of the centre’s continuing education program.
