The Standing Senate Committee on Social Affairs, Science and Technology, to which was referred Bill S-14, to protect heritage lighthouses, met this day at 10:59 a.m. to give clause-by-clause consideration to the bill.

The Deputy Chairman: Is it agreed that I report this bill without amendment at the next sitting of the Senate?

The Deputy Chairman: I must tell you that I intended to report this bill and the bill carried yesterday today. However, I have a six o'clock meeting in Toronto tonight, which means I have to take a three o'clock flight, and I do not think I can do that. Is it acceptable if I go next Monday night instead of today?

Senator Cochrane: Absolutely.

Senator Callbeck: Monday night is fine.

Senator Cochrane: It is not this Monday.

The Deputy Chairman: It is a week Monday, yes.
