Extract from the Journals of the Senate, Wednesday, May 28:

Bill S-228, An Act to amend the Canadian Wheat Board Act (board of directors), was read the second time.

The Honourable Senator Mitchell moved, seconded by the Honourable Senator Hubley, that the bill be referred to the Standing Senate Committee on Agriculture and Forestry.

The question being put on the motion, it was adopted.
