The Standing Senate Committee on Fisheries and Oceans met in camera, this day at 9:10 a.m., in room 505, Victoria Building, the chair, the Honourable Fabian Manning, presiding.

Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Harb, Hubley, Manning, McInnis, Oh, Poirier, Watt and Wells (8).

In attendance: Odette Madore, Analyst, Parliamentary Information and Research Services, Library of Parliament; Mona Ishack, Communications Officer, Communications Directorate of the Senate.

Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Tuesday, March 5, 2013, the committee continued to examine issues relating to the regulation of aquaculture in Canada and future prospects for the industry. (For complete text of the order of reference, see proceedings of the committee, Issue No. 14.)

Pursuant to rule 12-16(1)(d), the committee considered a draft agenda (future business).

At 9:46 a.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the chair.
