The Committee of Selection met this day at 11:00 a.m. in Room 356-S, Centre Block, the chair, the Honourable Senator Marshall, presiding.

Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Comeau, Cordy, Fraser, Greene, Marshall, Martin, Munson and Robichaud, P.C. (8).

Also present: The official reporters of the Senate.

The chair made a statement.

The Honourable Senator Munson moved that the Honourable Senator Campbell replace the Honourable Senator Harb as a member of the Standing Senate Committee on Banking, Trade and Commerce.

The question being put on the motion, it was agreed.

The Honourable Senator Cordy moved that the Honourable Senator Munson replace the Honourable Senator Harb as a member of the Standing Senate Committee on Human Rights.

The question being put on the motion, it was agreed.

The Honourable Senator Fraser moved that the Honourable Senator Robichaud, P.C. replace the Honourable Senator Harb as a member of the Standing Senate Committee on Fisheries and Oceans.

The question being put on the motion, it was agreed.

The Honourable Senator Robichaud, P.C. moved that the Honourable Senator Fraser replace the Honourable Senator Harb as a member of the Standing Joint Committee on Scrutiny of Regulations.

The question being put on the motion, it was agreed.

It was agreed that the chair report to the Senate the recommendations agreed to at this day’s meeting.

After debate, it was agreed that the chair ask the Senate for leave to have the report adopted immediately after presentation.

At 11:06 a.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the chair.
