The Standing Senate Committee on Social Affairs, Science and Technology met this day at 10:28 a.m., in room 2, Victoria Building, the chair, the Honourable Kelvin Kenneth Ogilvie, presiding.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Cordy, Dyck, Eaton, Eggleton, P.C., Enverga, Martin, Ogilvie, Seidman, Seth and Verner, P.C. (10).
In attendance: Sonya Norris, Analyst, Parliamentary Information and Research Service.
Also in attendance: The official reporters of the Senate.
Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Thursday, February 28, 2013, the committee continued its study of the subject matter on Bill C-314, An Act respecting the awareness of screening among women with dense breast tissue. (For complete text of the order of reference, see proceedings of the committee, Issue No. 40.)

At 11:26 a.m., the committee resumed.
Dr. Boyd and Mr. Yaffe each made a statement and, together, answered questions.
At 12:19 p.m., the committee suspended.
At 12:23 p.m., pursuant to rule 12-16(1)(d), the committee resumed in camera to consider a draft report.
At 12:55 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the chair.
