The Standing Senate Committee on Banking, Trade and Commerce met in camera this day, at 10:30 a.m., in room 505, Victoria Building, the chair, the Honourable Irving Gerstein, presiding.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Andreychuk, Bellemare, Campbell, Gerstein, Greene, Maltais, Ringuette and Tkachuk (8).
In attendance: Adriane Yong and Brett Stuckey, Analysts, Parliamentary Information and Research Service, Library of Parliament.
Pursuant to rule 12-16(1)(d), the committee considered a draft agenda (future business).
It was moved that senators' staff be allowed to stay in the room and that blackberries and cellular phones not be used.
The question being put on the motion, it was adopted.
It was moved that the draft agenda for September and October be adopted.

At 11 a.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the chair.
