The Standing Senate Committee on Energy, the Environment and Natural Resources met this day at 4:58 p.m., in room 9, Victoria Building, the chair, the Honourable Richard Neufeld, presiding.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Black, Boisvenu, Lang, Mitchell, Neufeld, Patterson, Seidman and Wallace (8).
In attendance: Sam Banks, Analyst, Parliamentary Information and Research Services, Library of Parliament.
Also present: The official reporters of the Senate.
Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Tuesday, June 17, 2014, the committee continued its examination of Bill S-6, An Act to amend the Yukon Environmental and Socio-economic Assessment Act and the Nunavut Waters and Nunavut Surface Rights Tribunal Act.
