The Standing Senate Committee on National Finance met this day at 9:30 a.m., in room 9, Victoria Building, the chair, the Honourable Joseph A. Day, presiding.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Bellemare, Chaput, Day, Gerstein, Hervieux-Payette, P.C., Massicotte, Mockler, Rivard, Smith (Saurel), Stewart Olsen and Wallace (11).
Other senator present: The Honourable Senator Black (1).
In attendance: Sylvain Fleury and Raphaëlle Deraspe, Analysts, Parliamentary Information and Research Service, Library of Parliament.
Also present: The official reporters of the Senate.
Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Thursday, March 12, 2015, the committee began its consideration Bill C-21, An Act to control the administrative burden that regulations impose on businesses.

At 10:33 a.m., the committee resumed.
Mr. Hayos made a statement and answered questions.
At 10:58 a.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the chair.
