The Standing Senate Committee on Banking, Trade and Commerce met in camera this day at 10:37 a.m., in room 9, Victoria Building, the chair, the Honourable David Tkachuk, presiding.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Beyak, Black, Campbell, Enverga, Greene, Massicotte, Smith (Saurel), Tannas and Tkachuk (9).
In attendance: Brett Stuckey and Dylan Gowans, Analysts, Parliamentary Information and Research Services, Library of Parliament.
Also in attendance: The official reporters of the Senate.
Pursuant to rule 12-16(1)(d), the committee considered a draft agenda (future business).
It was agreed that the following special study budget application (Internal Barriers to trade) for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2017 be approved, as amended; and that the subcommittee on agenda and procedure be authorized to approve the final version of the budget, for the chair to submit to the Standing Committee on Internal Economy, Budgets and Administration:
