The Standing Senate Committee on Banking, Trade and Commerce met this day at 10:31 a.m., in room 9, Victoria Building, the chair, the Honourable David Tkachuk, presiding.

Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Black, Day, Enverga, Greene, Massicotte, Ringuette, Smith, Tannas and Tkachuk (9).

In attendance: Brett Capstick and Michaël Lambert-Racine, Analysts, Parliamentary Information and Research Services, Library of Parliament.

Also present: The official reporters of the Senate.

Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Wednesday, September 28, 2016, the committee continued its study and recommendations on the operation and practices of the Copyright Board of Canada.

At 11:36 a.m., the committee suspended.

At 11:39 a.m., the committee resumed.

At 12:02 p.m., the deputy chair, the Honourable Joseph A. Day, took the chair.

At 12:38 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the chair.
