The Standing Senate Committee on Banking, Trade and Commerce met this day at 10:30 a.m., in room 9, Victoria Building, the chair, the Honourable Douglas Black, presiding.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Black (Alberta), Dagenais, Day, Marshall, Marwah, Ringuette, Stewart Olsen, Tannas, Tkachuk, Wallin and Wetston (11).
In attendance: Adriane Yong and Brett Stuckey, Analysts, Parliamentary Information and Research Services, Library of Parliament; Mila Pavlovic and Henry Paikin, Communications Officers, Senate Communications Directorate.
Also present: The official reporters of the Senate.
Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Wednesday, January 27, 2016, the committee continued its study on the present state of the domestic and international financial system. (For complete text of the order of reference, see proceedings of the committee, Issue No. 2.)
