The Standing Senate Committee on Energy, the Environment and Natural Resources met this day at 5:01 p.m., in room 160-S, Centre Block, the chair, the Honourable Richard Neufeld, presiding.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Dean, Eggleton, P.C., Fraser, Galvez, Griffin, Lang, Macdonald, Massicotte, Mockler, Neufeld, Patterson, Seidman and Wetston (13).
In attendance: Sam Banks, Analyst, Parliamentary Information and Research Services, Library of Parliament.
Also present: The official reporters of the Senate.
Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Thursday, May 4, 2017, the committee continued its study of Bill C-18, An Act to amend the Rouge National Urban Park Act, the Parks Canada Agency Act and the Canada National Parks Act. (For complete text of the order of reference, see proceedings of the committee, Issue No. 27.)

Pam Veinotte, Field Unit Superintendent, Rouge National Urban Park.
Mr. Noonan made a statement, and together with Ms. Veinotte, answered questions.
At 5:28 p.m., the committee suspended.
At 5:30 p.m., the committee resumed.
The chair made a statement.
At 5:31 p.m., it was agreed that the committee proceed to clause-by-clause consideration of Bill C-18.
It was agreed that the title stand postponed.
It was agreed that clause 1 carry.
It was agreed that clause 2 carry.
It was agreed that clause 3 carry.
It was agreed that clause 4 carry.
