The Standing Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Trade met this day at 4:19 p.m., in room 160- S, Centre Block, the acting chair, the Honourable Thanh Hai Ngo, presiding.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Bovey, Cools, Cordy, Downe, Eaton, Gold, Housakos, Martin, Marwah, Ngo, Oh, Saint-Germain and Woo (13).
Other senator present: The Honourable Senator Pratte (1).
Also present: The official reporters of the Senate.
Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Tuesday, March 7, 2017, the committee continued its consideration of Bill C-30, An Act to implement the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement between Canada and the European Union and its Member States and to provide for certain other measures. (For complete text of the order of reference, see proceedings of the committee, Issue No 20.)

At 6:14 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the acting chair.
