The Standing Senate Committee on Fisheries and Oceans met this day at 5:04 p.m., in room 9, Victoria Building, the chair, the Honourable Fabian Manning, presiding.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Enverga, Forest, Gold, Hubley, Manning, Martin, McInnis, Plett and Sinclair (9).
In attendance: Odette Madore, Analyst, Parliamentary Information and Research Services, Library of Parliament.
Also present: The official reporters of the Senate.
Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Wednesday, November 23, 2016, the committee continued its examination of Bill S-203, An Act to amend the Criminal Code and other Acts (ending the captivity of whales and dolphins). (For complete text of the order of reference, see proceedings of the committee, Issue No. 10.)
