The Standing Senate Committee on Social Affairs, Science and Technology met this day at 4:15 p.m., in room 2, Victoria Building, the chair, the Honourable Kelvin Kenneth Ogilvie, presiding.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Eggleton, P.C., Frum, Nancy Ruth, Neufeld, Ogilvie, Petitclerc, Raine, Seidman and Stewart Olsen (9).
Other senators present: The Honourable Senators Dean and Marshall (2).
In attendance: Sonya Norris, Analyst, Parliamentary Information and Research Services, Library of Parliament.
Also present: The official reporters of the Senate.
Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Monday, December 5, 2016, the committee continued its study on Bill C-26, An Act to amend the Canada Pension Plan, the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board Act and the Income Tax Act.

The chair made a statement.
Ms. Moreau and Mr. Dorval each made a statement and answered questions.
At 5:12 p.m., the committee suspended.
At 5:15 p.m., the committee resumed.
Mr. Yussuff and Mr. Janson each made a statement and, together with Mr. Roberts, answered questions.
At 6:03 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the chair.
