Pursuant to the order of the Senate of May 5, 2022, the Standing Senate Committee on National Security and Defence met this day in room W110, 1 Wellington St., and with videoconference, at 2:02 p.m. ET, the chair, the Honourable Tony Dean, presiding.

Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Boehm, Boisvenu, Dalphond, Dasko, Deacon (Ontario), Dean, Richards, Wells and Yussuff (9).

Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Wednesday, May 11, 2022, the committee continued its consideration of Bill S-7, An Act to amend the Customs Act and the Preclearance Act, 2016.
