The Standing Senate Committee on Social Affairs, Science and Technology met this day at 4:21 p.m., in room B45, Senate of Canada Building, the chair, the Honourable Ratna Omidvar, presiding.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Bernard, Brazeau, Burey, Dasko, Mégie, Moodie, Omidvar, Osler, Pate, Petitclerc and Seidman (11).
Other senators present: The Honourable Senators LaBoucane-Benson, McBean, Miville-Dechêne and Senior (4).

Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, the committee continued its study of Bill C-64, An Act respecting pharmacare.

Bettina Hamelin and Jim Keon each made a statement and, together with Declan Hamill and Jody Cox, answered questions.
At 5:18 p.m., the committee suspended.
At 5:22 p.m., the committee resumed.

At 6:13 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the chair.
