The Chair: Good morning, everyone, and welcome to the Standing Committee on Internal Economy, Budgets and Administration. My name is Sabi Marwah, and I have the privilege of serving as chair of this committee.
For the benefit of those that are on the webcast or on the phone, I would ask each of the senators present to introduce themselves, starting on my left.

The Chair: Turning to the first item on the agenda, the public minutes from November 8, 2018, they are in our package. Are there any questions or changes?
If not, could I have a motion to approve? Moved by Senator Batters to adopt the minutes. Agreed? Carried.
Colleagues, the next item is pursuant to section 1.6.2 of the Senators’ Office Management Policy. The Subcommittee on Agenda and Procedure is required to report biannually on the exception requests it has received in their corresponding decisions. Accordingly, the thirteenth report of the subcommittee has been tabled, which outlines exemption requests and corresponding decisions since May 24. This report is placed before you for information. Are there any questions?
If not, we go to Item No. 3 and No. 4.
Pascale just advised me that Items Nos. 3 and 4 were inadvertently put into the public motion. They are related to salary increases and are probably best discussed in the in camera session. If it is all right with you, we’ll move that to in camera.
This should have been in camera in the first place, Senator Tkachuk. We are dealing with salary increases and people are going to find out in public before we even tell them.
Senator Tkachuk: They will be public?
The Chair: They will be public, but we want the staff to find out before.
Senator Tkachuk: Yes.
The Chair: Are there any other matters before we go in camera? We will go in camera.
