Friday, March 22, 2019 – Senator Donna Dasko hosts University of Toronto Women in House participants (from left) Ashley Gold, Paulina Chan, and Simran Sawhey at the Senate of Canada Building. The U of T Women in House program is aimed at promoting greater gender representation in the federal government by inviting female U of T students to shadow a Canadian parliamentarian for a full day.

Smith and Julie Miville-Dechêne participate in a question-and-answer period in the Senate Chamber with Forum for Young Canadians participants. It was an opportunity for participants to learn more about the Senate, the work of the senators and what it means to be a leader.
