Thursday, November 24, 2022 – Senator Ratna Omidvar, centre, meets with students from the Canadian Alliance of Student Associations. Friday, November 25, 2022 – Senators Lucie Moncion, René Cormier and Bernadette Clement welcome Forum jeunesse pancanadien participants to the Red Chamber for a panel discussion organized by the Fédération de la jeunesse canadienne-française. Senators addressed several issues that affect minority francophone communities, such as youth employability, mental health, the environment, arts and culture, and diversity and inclusion.  

Friday, November 25, 2022 – In a session organized by SENgage, Senator Peter Boehm meets virtually with undergraduate students at the University of British Columbia. He discussed his experience as a senator, as well as the important role that international organizations play in global governance.

Monday, November 28, 2022 – Senator Paula Simons speaks to teachers taking part in the 2022 virtual Alberta Teachers Institute on Parliamentary Democracy. Offered by the Alberta Legislature, the event provides teachers with meaningful learning experiences about the inner workings of the provincial legislature and Canada’s parliamentary system.
