There are two broad categories of Senate Committees’ reports, all with specific purposes:
- Reporting on past expenses, requesting powers (to travel, to televise, for example) or to request budgetary approval, or other financial reports;
- Legislative: reporting on bills referred to a committee;
- Special Study: reporting on special studies referred to a committee.
