The Standing Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs met this day in camera at 4:10 p.m. in room 172-E of the Centre Block, the Chairman, the Honourable John B. Stewart, presiding.

Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Andreychuk, Bolduc, Carney, P.C., Corbin, Di Nino, Grafstein, Losier-Cool, Stewart and Stollery (9).

In attendance: From the Research Branch of the Library of Parliament: Peter Berg, Economics Division and Colleen Hoey, Intern.

The committee considered a draft report pursuant to its order of reference pertaining to relations between Canada and the Asia-Pacific region.

At 6:00 p.m., the committee adjourned until 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday October 21.
