The Standing Senate Committee on Agriculture and Forestry met in camera this day at 9:02 a.m. in Room 705, Victoria Building, the Chair, the Honourable Senator Leonard J. Gustafson, presiding.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Chalifoux, Fairbairn, P.C., Fitzpatrick, Gill, Gustafson, Oliver, Robichaud, P.C. and Rossiter (8).
In attendance: From the Research Branch of the Library of Parliament: June Dewetering, Research Officer.
Also present: The official reporters of the Senate.
Pursuant to its order of reference to study the present state and the future of forestry in Canada, consideration of a draft budget.
The Honourable Senator Fitzpatrick moved, -- That the budget be approved.
The question being put on motion, it was agreed.
