The Standing Senate Committee on Energy, the Environment and Natural Resources met at 5:30 p.m. this day, in room 505, Victoria Building, the Chair, the Honourable Mira Spivak, presiding.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Adams, Christensen, Cochrane, Kelleher, P.C., Kenny, Sibbeston, Spivak and Taylor (8).
Other senators present: The Honourable Senators Nolin and Wilson (2).
In attendance: From the Library of Parliament, Lynne Myers, researcher.

The committee, in compliance with its Order of Reference dated May 9, 2000, proceeded to study Bill S-20, Tobacco Act. (See Issue No. 11, June 6, 2000, for the full text of the Order of Reference.)
