The Standing Senate Committee on Energy, the Environment and Natural Resources met at 8:30 p.m. this day, in room 256, Centre Block, the Chair, the Honourable Mira Spivak, presiding.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Adams, Banks, Cochrane, Finnerty, Kenny, Sibbeston, Spivak and Taylor (8).
Other senators present: The Honourable Senators Chalifoux and Rossister (2).
In attendance: The official reporters of the Senate and from the Library of Parliament, John Craig, researcher.
The committee, in compliance with its Order of Reference dated June 28, 2000, proceeded to study Bill C-27, An Act respecting the national parks of Canada.
