The Standing Senate Committee on Fisheries met this day at 7:00 p.m. in Room 172-E, Center Block, the Chair, the Honourable Gerald Comeau, presiding.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Comeau, Cook, Mahovlich, Phalen, Watt (5).
Other senator present: The Honourable Senator Prud'homme (1).
In attendance: From the Parliamentary Research Branch, Library of Parliament: Claude Emery, Research Officer.
Also present: The official reporters of the Senate.

Pursuant to the Order of Reference adopted by the Senate on Tuesday, March 13, 2001, the committee continued its examination upon the matters relating to the fishing industry. (See Issue No. 1, March 20, 2001, for the full text of the Order of Reference.).
Mr. Gordon showed a videotape, made a statement and answered questions.
Mr. Klein made a statement and answered questions.
At 8:15 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
