The Standing Senate Committee on Fisheries met this day, in camera, at 7:00 p.m. in Room 705, Victoria Building, the Chair, the Honourable Gerald Comeau, presiding.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Comeau, Cook, Hubley, Johnson, Phalen, Robertson, Tunney and Watt (8).
In attendance: From the Parliamentary Research Branch, Library of Parliament: Claude Emery, Research Officer.
The committee proceeded to consider future business in camera.
At 8:20 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.

In attendance: From the Parliamentary Research Branch, Library of Parliament: Claude Emery, Research Officer.
Also present: The official reporters of the Senate.
Pursuant to the Order of Reference adopted by the Senate on Tuesday, March 13, 2001, the committee continued its examination upon the matters relating to the fishing industry. (See Issue No. 1, March 20, 2001, for the full text of the Order of Reference).
WITNESSES:
From Ducks Unlimited Canada:
J. Barry Turner, Director of Government Relations;
Ian Campbell, Senior Agricultural Policy Analyst.
Mr. Turner made a statement and with Mr. Campbell answered questions.
It was agreed that the material submitted by Ducks Unlimited be filed as an exhibit with the clerk.
It was agreed — That the material provided by Ducks Unlimited be filed as an exhibit with the Clerk of the Committee (Exhibit 5900 F1-SS-1, 16 ``33'').
At 8:35 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
