The Honourable Senator Robichaud, P.C., moved, seconded by the Honourable Senator Poulin:

That the Bill S-3, An Act to amend the Motor Vehicle Transport Act, 1987 and to make consequential amendments to other Acts, be referred to the Standing Senate Committee on Transport and Communications, if and when that Committee is established.
The question being put on the motion, it was adopted.
