Extract of the Journals of the Senate, on Thursday, May 3, 2001: The Honourable Senator Moore for the Honourable Senator Bacon moved, seconded by the Honourable Senator Hubley: That the Standing Senate Committee on Transport and Communications be authorized to hear the Minister of Transport in order to receive a briefing on busing regula tions; and That the committee report no later than September 30, 2001. The question being put on the motion, it was adopted.
Extract of the Journals of the Senate, on Wednesday, May 30, 2001: The Honourable Senator Callbeck, moved, seconded by the Honourable Senator Maheu: That the Bill C-14, An Act respecting shipping and navigation and to amend the Shipping Conferences Exemption Act, 1987 and other Acts, be referred to the Standing Senate Committee on Transport and Communications. The question being put on the motion, it was adopted.
