The Standing Senate Committee on Transport and Communications met this day at 9:00 a.m., in Vancouver, the Chair, the Honourable Lise Bacon, presiding.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Adams, Bacon, Forrestall, Gustafson, Jaffer and Phalen (6).
Other senator present: The Honourable Senator Lawson (1).
In attendance: Joseph Dion, Researcher for the Library of Parliament and Martin Brennan, Special Advisor to the Committee.
Also in attendance: The official reporters for the Senate.
Pursuant to the Order of Reference adopted by the Senate on September 26, 2001, the committee proceeded with the examination of issues facing the intercity busing industry (See Issue No. 21, Monday, February 11, 2002, Tuesday, February 12, 2002, Wednesday, February 13, 2002, for full text of the Order of Reference).

At 10:40 a.m., the committee suspended.
