The Standing Senate Committee on Transport and Communications met this day at 9:32 a.m., in room 256-S, Centre Block, the Chair, the Honourable Lise Bacon, presiding.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Adams, Bacon, Callbeck, Jaffer, Phalen and Spivak (6).
In attendance: Joseph Dion, Researcher for the Library of Parliament and Martin Brennan, Special Advisor to the committee.
Also in attendance: The official reporters for the Senate.
Pursuant to the Order of Reference adopted by the Senate on September 26, 2001, the committee proceeded with the examination of issues facing the intercity busing industry. (See Issue No. 21, Monday, February 11, 2002, Tuesday, February 12, 2002, Wednesday, February 13, 2002, for full text of the Order of Reference.)

Ross Ferguson, President.
Mr. Ferguson made a presentation and answered questions.
The Airport Ground Transportation Association submitted a brief.
At 10:18 a.m., it was agreed — That the committee adjourn to the call of the Chair.
