The Standing Senate Committee on Energy, Environment and Natural Resources met in camera at 6:32 p.m. this day, in room 257-East Block, the Honourable Senator Banks, Chair, presiding.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Banks, Buchanan, Christensen, Cochrane, Kenny, and Spivak (6).
Other senators present: The Honourable Senators Sibbeston and Comeau (2).
In attendance: From the Library of Parliament: Lynne Myers, Researcher, Science and Technology Division and James McQueen, Researcher, Economics Division.
Pursuant to rule 92(2)(e), the committee proceeded in camera for the consideration of a draft agenda.
At 7:40 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.

Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Christensen, Eyton, Finnerty, Kenny, Kinsella, Lynch-Staunton, Milne, Morin, Spivak, Tkachuk and Watt (11).

Pursuant to the Order of Reference adopted by the Senate on Thursday, December 12, 2002, the committee proceeded to study Bill C-4, An Act to amend the Nuclear Safety and Control Act.

It was agreed, — That Bill C-4 be reported to the Senate.
