The Standing Senate Committee on Human Rights has the honour to table its
FIRST REPORT
Your Committee, which was authorized by the Senate to incur expenses for the purpose of its examination and consideration of such legislation and other matters as were referred to it, reports, pursuant to rule 104 of the Rules, that the expenses incurred by the Committee during the Third Session of the Thirty-seventh Parliament are as follows:
1. With respect to its study on the resolution encapsulating the 2002 Berlin OSCE (PA) Resolution:

2. With respect to its study on key legal issues affecting the subject of on-reserve matrimonial real property on the breakdown of a marriage or common law relationship and the policy context in which they are situated:

During the session under consideration, your Committee considered two orders of reference, held 5 meetings, and received evidence from 15 witnesses over some 6 hours. Your Committee submitted three reports relating to its work.

The Standing Senate Committee on Human Rights has the honour to present its
SECOND REPORT
Your Committee, which was authorized by the Senate on Wednesday, November 3, 2004, to examine and report upon Canada's international obligations in regard to the rights and freedoms of children, respectfully requests for the purpose of this study that it be empowered to engage the services of such counsel, technical, clerical and other personnel as may be necessary.
Pursuant to Chapter 3:06, section 2(1)(c) of the Senate Administrative Rules, the budget submitted to the Standing Committee on Internal Economy, Budgets and Administration and the report thereon of that Committee are appended to this report.

The Standing Senate Committee on Human Rights has the honour to present its
THIRD REPORT
Your Committee, which was authorized by the Senate on Wednesday, November 3, 2004, to examine and monitor issues relating to human rights and, inter alia, to review the machinery of government dealing with Canada's international and national human rights obligations, respectfully requests for the purpose of this study that it be empowered to engage the services of such counsel, technical, clerical and other personnel as may be necessary.
Pursuant to Chapter 3:06, section 2(1)(c) of the Senate Administrative Rules, the budget submitted to the Standing Committee on Internal Economy, Budgets and Administration and the report thereon of that Committee are appended to this report.
