The Standing Senate Committee on Energy, the Environment and Natural Resources met this day, at 5:26 p.m., in room 9, Victoria Building, the chair, the Honourable W. David Angus, presiding.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Angus, Brown, Lang, McCoy, Merchant, Mitchell, Neufeld, Peterson, Rompkey, P.C. and Seidman (10).
In attendance: Marc Leblanc and Sam Banks, Analysts, Parliamentary Information and Research Service, Library of Parliament.
Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Thursday, June 4, 2009, the committee continued its examination of the current state and future of Canada's energy sector (including alternative energy).
