The Committee of Selection met this day at 1:14 p.m. in Room 256-S, Centre Block.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Cochrane, Di Nino, Fairbairn, P.C., Fraser, Munson, Robichaud, P.C., Stratton and Tkachuk (8).
Also present: The official reporters of the Senate.
The committee proceeded with a membership change of a senator serving on the Standing Senate Committee on Energy, the Environment and Natural Resources.
The Honourable Senator Tkachuk moved that the Honourable Senator Seidman be nominated to serve as a member of the Standing Senate Committee on Energy, the Environment and Natural Resources.
The question being put on the motion, it was adopted.
The Honourable Senator Carstairs, P.C., moved that the chair report to the Senate the nomination agreed to at this day’s meeting.
The question being put on the motion, it was agreed.
At 1:15 p.m. the committee adjourned to the call of the chair.
