The Special Senate Committee on Anti-terrorism met this day at 1:30 p.m., in room 9, Victoria Building, the chair, the Honourable Hugh Segal, presiding.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Andreychuk, Dagenais, Dallaire, Day, Frum, Joyal, P.C., Segal, Smith, P.C. (Cobourg), and Tkachuk (9).
In attendance: Lyne Casavant and Holly Porteous, Analysts, Parliamentary Information and Research Service, Library of Parliament; and Brigitte Lemay, Communications Directorate.
Also in attendance: The official reporters of the Senate.
Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Thursday, March 8, 2012, the committee continued its examination of Bill S-7, An Act to amend the Criminal Code, the Canada Evidence Act and the Security of Information Act. (For complete text of the order of reference, see proceedings of the committee, Issue No. 1.)

At 3:40 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the chair.
