The Standing Senate Committee on Aboriginal Peoples met, in camera this day, at 6:45 p.m., in room 160-S, Centre Block, the deputy char, the Honourable Lillian Eva Dyck, presiding.

Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Ataullahjan, Brazeau, Dallaire, Demers, Dyck, Lovelace Nicholas, Martin, Patterson, Raine and Sibbeston (10).

In attendance: Tonina Simeone, Shauna Troniak and James Gauthier, Analysts, Parliamentary Information and Research Service, Library of Parliament; and Ceri Au, Communications Officer, Communications Directorate.

In accordance with rule 92(2)(e), the committee considered a draft agenda.

It was agreed that senators' staff be permitted to remain in the room.

At 7:45 p.m., it was agreed that the committee adjourn to the call of the chair.
