The Standing Senate Committee on Energy, the Environment and Natural Resources met this day, at 8:06 a.m., in room 257, East Block, the chair, the Honourable W. David Angus, presiding.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Angus, Baker, P.C., Brown, Dawson, Fraser, Johnson, Lang, Munson, Peterson, Seidman and Wallace (11).
In attendance: Marc LeBlanc and Sam Banks, Analysts, Parliamentary Information and Research Service, Library of Parliament.
Also in attendance: The official reporters of the Senate.
Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Thursday, May 3, 2012, the committee continued its examination of the subject-matter of those elements contained in Part 3 of Bill C-38, An Act to implement certain provisions of the budget tabled in Parliament on March 29, 2012 and other measures. Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada:
Ross Gallinger, Executive Director.

Justyna Laurie-Lean, Vice-President, Environment and Health.
The chair made an opening statement.
Ms. Kenny, Mr. Gallinger and Mr. Gratton each made a statement and, together with Ms. Laurie-Lean, answered questions.
At 9:57 a.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the chair.
