The Standing Senate Committee on Legal and Constitutional Affairs met at 10:34 a.m. this day, in room 257, East Block, the chair, the Honourable John D. Wallace presiding.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Angus, Baker, P.C., Banks, Boisvenu, Chaput, Fraser, Lang, Meredith, Runciman, Stratton and Wallace (11).
In attendance: Laura Barnett and Erin Shaw, analysts, Parliamentary Information and Research Service, Library of Parliament.
Also in attendance: The official reporters of the Senate.
Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Tuesday, September 27, 2011, the committee continued its study on the Parole Board of Canada's User Fees Proposal.

Gregory Thomas, Federal Director.
The chair made an opening statement.
Mr. Kennedy, Mr. Wamback and Ms. Rosenfeldt each made a statement and, together with Ms. Wamback, answered questions.
At 12:07 p.m., the committee suspended.
At 12:15 p.m., the committee resumed.
Mr. Thomas made a statement and answered questions.
At 12:54 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the chair.
