The Standing Senate Committee on Official Languages met this day at 5 p.m., in room 9, Victoria Building, the Chair, the Honourable Maria Chaput, presiding.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Chaput, Charette-Poulin, Comeau, De Bané, P.C., Fortin-Duplessis, McIntyre, Poirier and Tardif (8).
In attendance: Marie-Ève Hudon, Analyst, Parliamentary Information and Research Service, Library of Parliament.
Also in attendance: The official reporters of the Senate.
Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Thursday, November 17, 2011, the committee continued its study on the CBC/Radio-Canada's obligations under the Official Languages Act and some aspects of the Broadcasting Act.
