The Standing Senate Committee on Human Rights met this day, at 4:04 p.m. in room 160-S, Centre Block, the Chair, the Honourable Mobina S. B. Jaffer, presiding.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Andreychuk, Ataullahjan, Brazeau, Harb, Hubley, Jaffer, Meredith, White and Zimmer (9).
In attendance: Julian Walker and Lyne Casavan, Analysts, Parliamentary Information and Research Service, Library of Parliament; Ceri Au, Communications Officer, Senate Communications Directorate.
Also in attendance: The official reporters of the Senate.
Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Wednesday, November 30, 2011, the committee continued its examination of cyberbullying in Canada with regard to Canada's international human rights obligations under Article 19 of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child.
