The Committee of Selection met this day at 11:00 a.m. in room 256-S, Centre Block, the chair, the Honourable Senator Marshall, presiding.

Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Comeau, Cordy, Fraser, Greene, Marshall, Mercer and Munson (7).

Also present: The official reporters of the Senate.

The chair made a statement.

The Honourable Senator Comeau moved that the Honourable Senator Carignan replace the Honourable Senator Duffy on the Standing Senate Committee on Agriculture and Forestry.

The question being put on the motion, it was agreed.

The Honourable Senator Greene moved that the Honourable Senator Carignan replace the Honourable Senator Duffy on the Standing Committee on Rules, Procedures and the Rights of Parliament.

The question being put on the motion, it was agreed.

It was agreed that the chair report to the Senate the recommendations agreed to at this day’s meeting.

At 11:03 a.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the chair.
