The Standing Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Trade met this day at 4:15 p.m., in room 160-S, Centre Block, the deputy chair, the Honourable Percy E. Downe, presiding.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Andreychuk, Beyak, Downe, Eaton, Fortin-Duplessis, Oh, Patterson and Smith, P.C. (Cobourg) (8).
In attendance: James Lee and Pascal Tremblay, Analysts, Parliamentary Information and Research Services, Library of Parliament.
Also in attendance: The official reporters of the Senate.
Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Thursday, November 21, 2013, the committee continued its study to examine such issues as may arise from time to time relating to foreign relations and international trade generally.
