The Standing Senate Committee on Agriculture and Forestry met this day at 9:02 a.m., in room 2, Victoria Building.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Beyak, Dagenais, Enverga, Merchant, Ogilvie, Oh, Plett, Robichaud, P.C., and Tardif (9).
In attendance: Aïcha Coulibaly and Jed Chong, Analysts, Parliamentary Information and Research Service, Library of Parliament.
Also in attendance: The official reporters of the Senate.
The clerk informed the committee of the unavoidable absences of the chair and deputy chair and presided over the election of an acting chair.
The Honourable Senator Ogilvie moved:
That the Honourable Senator Robichaud, P.C., be the acting chair.
The question being put on the motion, it was adopted.
The acting chair took the chair.
Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Thursday, October 23, 2014, the committee continued its consideration of its study on international market access priorities for the Canadian agricultural and agri-food sector.
